Job summary

A multi-academy trust is looking for a Teaching Assistant Apprentice to support students in their learning and emotional needs. You will work 37 hours per week during term time, helping to inspire and motivate pupils across various abilities. Ideal candidates should possess good numeracy and literacy skills equivalent to GCSE grade C in Maths and English.

Job description

As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will nurture, inspire, challenge, and motivate pupils, whilst implementing clear boundaries and routines. You'll engage with pupils across a range of abilities and help raise aspirations and attainment in students and encourage progression.

Are you an energetic, creative individual who can relate positively to young people? This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside teaching staff to support the children with their emotional and learning needs. You will possess good numeracy and literacy skills equivalent to GCSE grade C in Maths and English, as well as effective communication skills.

The position will be 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year. This Apprenticeship is offered on a fixed-term basis for the duration of the apprenticeship. As part of the apprenticeship, you will also be required to complete assignments and coursework to support your learning and development.
