Job summary

Oasis Academy Leesbrook in Oldham is seeking an Apprentice Teaching Assistant to support teaching staff with lesson planning, preparation and delivery across whole-class and individual learning activities. You will prepare resources, assist with pastoral support, and contribute to monitoring progress and providing feedback to teachers to help every learner reach their potential.

Oasis Academy Leesbrook currently have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated practitioner to join the team as a Apprentice Teaching Assistant, supporting teaching staff with responsibility for the development and educational provision of learners.

Job overview

You’ll be responsible for assisting with planning, preparation and delivery of lesson provision, both on a whole-class and individual basis, preparing resources to support learning activities as well as ensuring pupils are supported pastorally. You’ll contribute to evaluating student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher to ensure all students’ learning needs are being met.
