Job summary

Avison Young UK is recruiting a motivated Graduate Apprenticeship candidate to join our Valuation Team, assisting Directors in preparing property valuations for commercial and residential properties. You will attend inspections, gather data, and support report preparation as part of the core learning experience.

Entry requires GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above, with Level 3 qualifications preferred (A Levels, BTEC Level 3 or equivalent).

Qualifications

• GCSE English Language and Maths at Grade 4/C or above.
• Level 3 qualifications preferred, such as A Levels, BTEC Level 3, or equivalent.
• Proactive learner with an interest in property valuation.

Responsibilities

• Support Valuation Team: Assist Directors in preparing property valuations for commercial and residential properties.
• Property Inspections: Attend property inspections with senior colleagues and collect data.
• Market Research: Gather evidence on local markets to support valuations.
• Report Preparation: Help draft valuation reports and ensure documentation is accurate.
• Client Interaction: Assist with client communications and data management of comparables.
• Learning & Development: Participate in training sessions and workshops.

Responsibilities

• Support Valuation Team: Assist Directors in preparing property valuations for commercial and residential properties
• Property Inspections: Attend property inspections alongside senior colleagues, taking notes and gathering necessary data
• Market Research: Conduct research on local property markets, trends, and comparable evidence to support valuation
• Report Preparation: Assist in drafting and compile valuation reports, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate
• Client Interaction: Support with client communications, ensuring a professional and helpful response to valuation correspondence
• Admin Support: Assist in the maintenance of comparable databases and other administrative tasks as required by the team
• Learning & Development: Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your knowledge and skills within the commercial & residential property market

Qualifications

Please note for entry on to the graduate apprenticeship, you will need a minimum of GCSE English Language and Maths at Grade 4/C or above. And Level 3 qualifications preferred, such as:

• A Levels
• BTEC Level 3
• Equivalent Level 3 qualifications.
