Job summary

Avison Young is offering a graduate apprenticeship in Manchester to join our valuation team. The role focuses on assisting Directors with property valuations for commercial and residential properties, participating in inspections, and supporting market research and report preparation.

Ideal candidates will have GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4 or above, with Level 3 qualifications preferred. Some roles may be remote, but this position is primarily office-based within the UK.

Qualifications

• GCSE English Language and Maths at grade 4/C or above required.
• Level 3 qualifications preferred (A Levels, BTEC Level 3 or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Assist Directors in preparing property valuations for commercial and residential properties.
• Attend property inspections alongside senior colleagues, taking notes and gathering necessary data.
• Conduct research on local property markets, trends, and comparable evidence to support valuation.
• Assist in drafting and compile valuation reports, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate.
• Support with client communications, ensuring a professional and helpful response to valuation correspondence.
• Assist in the maintenance of comparable databases and other administrative tasks as required by the team.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your knowledge and skills within the commercial & residential property market.

Education

• Report Preparation: Assist in drafting and compile valuation reports, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate

• Admin Support: Assist in the maintenance of comparable databases and other administrative tasks as required by the team
• Learning & Development: Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your knowledge and skills within the commercial & residential property market

Qualifications

Please note for entry on to the graduate apprenticeship, you will need a minimum of GCSE English Language and Maths at Grade 4/C or above. And Level 3 qualifications preferred, such as:

• A Levels
• BTEC Level 3
• Equivalent Level 3 qualifications.
