About the apprenticeship role…
This role is an Apprentice Site Manager based in Telford. You will study a Level 4 Site Supervisor qualification which will take around 24 months to complete including the end point assessment (EPA) and you will work with our specialist training provider on this. You will work 40 hours per week onsite.
During your apprenticeship, you will learn from our Site Managers, learning about site operations - directing and organising site activities to ensure that all planned works are delivered safely on time and to the programme set out. Our Apprentice Site Managers will also learn how to monitor quality and performance to make sure standards of health and safety, productivity and quality are high.
What your day could look like…
We are committed to giving all our apprentices a minimum of six hours per week to dedicate to your studies and time to attend training with your apprenticeship provider.
About you…
You will need the following to be eligible for this apprenticeship:
Due to the nature of the role, a full driving licence would be highly recommended. If you are currently learning to drive, we may be able to support financially towards this, dependent on meeting our criteria.
This apprenticeship starts in March 2025.
This apprenticeship would particularly suit someone who has good digital skills and can use Microsoft office. We would also like you to be able to show you have good written skills and can talk to others well. You will need to be organised and have a good attention to detail. Being able to work in a team but also independently is important. You need to be self-driven and have a desire to learn how to manage and lead people.
For this apprenticeship, you need to be absolutely committed to becoming a Site Manager and studying for your apprenticeship – you must be sure this is the career for you and have spent time researching it and be studying/have studied the right qualifications. After the Level 4 apprenticeship, we will offer you the opportunity to go on to study a Level 6 Site Manager Degree Apprenticeship in order to make sure you have the knowledge, skills and experience to become a fully competent site manager.
