What you will be doing:

You will enroll in an apprenticeship course suited to your educational background, with levels from basic to degree level, fully funded by Galliford Try. The specific level will be discussed during the interview and confirmed upon offer. You will gain a qualification and practical skills through the programme.

Alongside, you will participate in our Trainee Development Programme, receiving training over a year with a graduation event.

Your daily duties include:

  • Participate in creating a safe working environment.
  • Assist in producing health and safety documentation.
  • Coordinate site engineering control and setting out activities, providing information to operatives and subcontractors.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Maintain site diaries and photographic records.
  • Undertake material reconciliations.
  • Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment.
  • Conduct as-built surveys and produce site sketches.
  • Assist in maintaining quality records and ensure compliance with Inspection & Test Plans.
  • Support basic planning, monitoring, and programming of construction activities.
  • Ensure proper care and storage of company property.
