At Pattison Agriculture we seek talent ready to GROW, CONNECT AND EVOLVE with us! We are looking for an Apprentice Service Technician to join our fast-paced, energetic dealership in Russell, MB.

This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career as an Agriculture Service Technician, utilizing state-of-the-art ag technology and being part of the future of agriculture. Our Apprentices will participate in on-the-job training and are committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining agricultural and turf equipment. In one of Canada’s top John Deere dealer organizations, you will deliver quality work in a friendly and collaborative environment that encourages learning and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, repair and service agricultural equipment with a commitment to customer support and pride in workmanship.
  • Use specialized tools, cutting-edge technology, and innovative solutions to diagnose and complete complex repairs.
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules/standards on equipment and related components.
  • Gain knowledge of John Deere agriculture products.
  • Use diagnostic tools and computer functions.
  • Attend & participate in apprenticeship training, John Deere University training, and dealer-led training to further develop skills and technical capabilities.

Requirements

  • Have a positive attitude & demonstrate a willingness to learn and succeed.
  • Be mechanically minded, and have experience performing service repairs/maintenance.
  • May currently be an Apprentice in a mechanical field or have the drive to become an apprentice.
  • Having knowledge and familiarity with John Deere and competitive products would be considered an asset.
  • High School Diploma/equivalent.
