The Service department is responsible for service and maintenance of the wind farms within UK and Ireland. The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication are key to our growth. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting industry and in a team of highly motivated employees.
You will be required to develop detailed knowledge of our wind turbines to perform daily maintenance, repairs, and other field service-related tasks. Working to the highest safety and environmental standards, while ensuring service targets are met, you will be part of a team of service technicians working throughout the region. Apprentices will work with teams across different parts of the business, gaining meaningful industry experience and have ample opportunity to learn from colleagues who have already completed apprenticeships in the same discipline. We seek apprentices eager to learn on the job, develop practical skills, personal competencies, and build relationships across our business.

This role is regionally based, requiring travel within the region. Candidates should reside near Muirkirk. The training spans 4 years, leading to NC, HNC, and potentially HND qualifications via placement at Ayrshire College (Ayr Campus). The first year is full-time college; subsequent years involve day/block release and on-site training.
