The Service department is responsible for service and maintenance of the wind farms within UK and Ireland. The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication are key to our growth. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting industry and in a team of highly motivated employees.
You will be required to develop detailed knowledge of our wind turbines to perform daily maintenance, repairs, and other field service tasks. Working to the highest safety and environmental standards while meeting service targets, you will be part of a team of service technicians working throughout the region. Apprentices will work with teams across different parts of the business, gaining meaningful industry experience and learning from colleagues who have completed apprenticeships in the same discipline. We seek apprentices eager to learn on the job, develop practical skills, build personal competencies, and foster relationships across our business.

This role is region-based, requiring travel within the region. Candidates should reside in the Muirkirk area. The training spans 4 years, leading to qualifications of NC, HNC, and potentially HND through placement at Ayrshire College (Ayr Campus). The first year is full-time college; subsequent years involve day/block release with on-site training.
