While working at the dealership, training is delivered on a residential block release basis at the ProVQ Training Centre in Shrewsbury and the Toyota/Lexus Academy in Burnaston, Derbyshire. The program targets and develops high-caliber people like you, who may have recently completed their education and are seeking the first step in a professional automotive career. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will gain the Apprenticeship Standard Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician (Light Vehicle) Level 3 qualification.

You will earn as you learn, because from Day 1 you will receive a competitive annual salary. Additionally, upon graduation, you are rewarded immediately with a competitive benefits package and performance-related bonuses.

• Participate fully in all scheduled activities including training at the Toyota/Lexus Academy in Burnaston, Derby, and the Atcham Training Centre in Shrewsbury.
• Keep all your learning activities up to date and ensure you are prepared for your learner reviews with your Manager, Mentor & Learning & Development Advisor.
• Carry out foundation tasks common to all service and repair procedures.
• Contribute to a safe and efficient workshop environment.
• Access information such as wiring diagrams, technical data, and vehicle repair information.
• Use complex diagnostic, mechanical, and electrical measuring equipment.
• Inspect and prepare vehicles to high-quality industry standards.
• Remove, repair/replacing components to manufacturer’s specifications.
• Investigate vehicle faults and identify their underlying causes.
• Apply advanced diagnostic principles and logical problem-solving techniques, using diagnostic tools and standard testing regimes to identify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Engage in activities that raise the dealership's profile, such as community events promoting the Lexus brand and attracting new customers.
