An exciting opportunity to join our Elective Orthopaedic team as an Apprentice Senior Healthcare Support Worker! The role is based at our new Bristol Surgical Centre, starting July 2025.
The Apprentice Senior Healthcare Support Worker provides direct patient care and supports registered practitioners, working towards a Level 3 Qualification in Senior Healthcare Support. Experience in care is advantageous but not essential.
Applicants must have been resident in the UK for three years prior to starting and have a valid visa. Sponsorship is not available.
Providing patient care alongside a Registered Nurse, including:
Progression to a Band 3 role involves performing clinical duties independently, such as blood pressure, oxygen saturation, temperature, pulse, respiration, glucose monitoring, and sample collection.
This apprenticeship will enable you to develop specific skills and obtain a Level 3 Healthcare qualification and the Care Certificate if not already completed.
