Role and Responsibilities
  • Based within the reception control room, monitoring security systems (CCTV, emergency alarms, fire alarms).
  • Support all access and egress through secure air-locks.
  • Act as an administrator and assist staff with the Traka System (electronic key system).
  • Work as a member of the security team within the reception and/or liaison areas of the Forensic Directorate medium and/or low secure hospital sites.
  • Operate various access and egress systems to contribute to a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, contractors and staff in accordance with Trust/Directorate policies and procedures.
  • Based mainly at Wolfson House (Posnanski Court, 311-315 Green Lanes, Finsbury Park, London N4 2ES) with occasional work at John Howard Centre (12 Kenworthy Rd, London E9 5TD).
