Job description

As a Scaffolding Apprentice, you will be based at one of our housing developments, receiving site-based training combined with construction college education. The apprenticeship lasts for 3 years, during which you will study for qualifications while working.

What you will do:
  • Gain experience in scaffolding activities at the site.
  • Fix scaffolding to buildings or structures to ensure stability, including tying tubes.
  • Install guard rails and safety netting.
  • Dismantle scaffolding after completing a job.
  • Work as part of a scaffold team.
  • Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Obtain and train to acquire CISRS Part 2C Basic Scaffolding and the corresponding CISRS card.
  • Maintain records of handover certificates.
  • Achieve a Health and Safety qualification.
