Role: Scaffolding Apprentice

As a Scaffolding Apprentice, you will be based at one of our housing developments, receiving site-based training combined with construction college training. You will study for qualifications while working. The apprenticeship program lasts for 3 years.

What You Will Do:

• Gain experience in scaffolding activities on-site
• Fix scaffolding to buildings or structures to ensure stability, including tying tubes
• Install guard rails and safety netting
• Dismantle scaffolding after job completion
• Work as part of a scaffold team
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements
• Obtain and train to acquire CISRS Part 2C Basic Scaffolding and the corresponding CISRS card
• Gain experience in maintaining handover certificate records
• Obtain health and safety qualifications

What You Will Have:

• The ability to work in an organized and accurate manner
• Awareness of safety issues, especially when working at heights and carrying loads
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and with other tradespeople
