Job summary

inploi is looking for an Apprentice Retail Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. You’ll learn on the shop floor, help customers, and work toward a Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship while earning in a busy store environment.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in customer service, stock control and merchandising. Full-time hours, competitive hourly rate, and training support are provided to help you grow with us.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and maths at grade 4/C (or equivalent).
• Not currently in any form of education and available for full-time shifts.
• Have not completed a Retail Apprenticeship before.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Brand new to retail.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers with a smile and share Star Buys.
• Keep the store clean, tidy and well-stocked.
• Help smash store targets as part of the team.
• Participate in training for Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship.
• Provide excellent in-store customer service and support.

As an Apprentice Sales Assistant at Superdrug, you'll be right at the heart of the action-serving customers with a smile, sharing our amazing Star Buys, and making sure everyone leaves feeling great!

You'll help keep the store looking its best and fully stocked, while playing a key role in smashing store targets.

It's a hands-on, fast-paced role that's never boring and packed with chances to learn. We see our Apprentice Sales Assistants as future Team Leaders, and we'll give you everything you need to grow—with brilliant training, and real opportunities to progress.

Your training will take place in-store over the first 12 months, so no college days and no homework! At the end of your training period, you will complete a discussion around your experiences and an observation of you performing your role. You will be supported throughout by your team and your tutor to achieve your Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship.

What you'll bring to the role:

• A positive mindset & clear communication skills
• Passionate about health & beauty and customer service
• Desire to learn and improve your knowledge/skills
• Flexible in working hours and adaptable to change

You qualify if…

• You have a grade 4 / C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths (national 4's for Scotland)
• You are not currently in any form of education, and you are available for full time shifts
• You HAVEN'T completed a Retail Apprenticeship before
• You are eligible to work in the UK
• You are brand new to retail
