Job summary

inploi is recruiting an Apprentice Retail Sales Assistant for Superdrug, a health and beauty retailer, in Derbyshire. This full-time role offers 39 hours weekly with flexible shifts and a competitive hourly rate of £9.75–£10.55.

The apprenticeship includes in-store training for the first 12 months toward a Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship, with support from the team and tutor to help you grow into future leadership roles.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and maths (grade 4/C) or equivalent.
• Not currently in any form of education and available for full-time shifts.
• Eligible to work in the UK and brand new to retail.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers with a smile and share Star Buys.
• Keep the store well-presented and fully stocked.
• Contribute to hitting store targets and learning on the job.
• Participate in training to achieve Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship.

As an Apprentice Sales Assistant at Superdrug, you'll be right at the heart of the action-serving customers with a smile, sharing our amazing Star Buys, and making sure everyone leaves feeling great!

You'll help keep the store looking its best and fully stocked, while playing a key role in smashing store targets.

It's a hands-on, fast-paced role that's never boring and packed with chances to learn. We see our Apprentice Sales Assistants as future Team Leaders, and we'll give you everything you need to grow-with brilliant training, and real opportunities to progress.

Your training will take place in-store over the first 12 months, so no college days and no homework! At the end of your training period, you will complete a discussion around your experiences and an observation of you performing your role. You will be supported throughout by your team and your tutor to achieve your Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship.

What you'll bring to the role:

• A positive mindset & clear communication skills
• Passionate about health & beauty and customer service
• Desire to learn and improve your knowledge/skills
• Flexible in working hours and adaptable to change

You qualify if…

• You have a grade 4 / C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths (national 4's for Scotland)
• You are not currently in any form of education, and you are available for full time shifts
• You HAVEN'T completed a Retail Apprenticeship before
• You are eligible to work in the UK
• You are brand new to retail
