Responsibilities:

• Opportunity to become a team leader
• Experience in working on a roof
• Able to accommodate a tradesman's needs without excessive instruction
• Able to prepare work areas for the roofers upon instruction and load materials safely
• Be trained in manual handling, working at height and abrasive wheels
• Be competent in the safe use of hand and power tools e.g., hand saw, grinder, hammer
• Have knowledge of roofing materials - recognise eaves, gables, tiles, trims, outlets, liquids etc.
• One-week block release and 4/5 weeks working on site over 21 months.

Working Hours: 40 hours per week (including off-the-job training) Monday-Friday 7:30-4:30 with a 1-hour lunch break.
