Are you looking to kick start your career as a Roofer? Are you based in or near Salford, Greater Manchester?

We are looking for an Apprentice Roofer to work on a 24-month fixed term basis, working 40 hours per week. The salary is based upon the National Minimum Age for apprentices.

Your Role

Attend training and work toward your trade qualification. Carry out minor and major planned roofing repairs. Pointing and small amounts of Bricklaying. Fit fascia and soffits. Communicate with clients to arrange and carry out work. Leave homes clean and safe, collecting tenant signatures after jobs. Support colleagues and build relationships across the business. Safely operate tools, machinery, and vehicles. Keep accurate records of work and materials used. Follow safety procedures, including reporting hazards. Complete paperwork accurately and ensure customer satisfaction. Attend College as required and ensure College work is completed and submitted on time. Work flexibly, including out-of-hours if needed, and follow all health and safety guidelines.

What We Need From You.

• Have a genuine interest in working in Roofing
• Have a GCSE or equivalent standard in Maths and English (C grade or grade 4 and above, or functional skills level 2)
• Have a positive approach to completing relevant courses and qualifications
• Flexibility and a positive attitude towards varied work and schedules
• Excellent customer service skills and punctuality
• Ability to demonstrate excellent organisational and planning skills
