Overview
We are looking to recruit an Apprentice Supervisor for our shop in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. This is a permanent full-time role with a variety of shifts, 5 days from 7 each week.
Responsibilities
- Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and greeting.
- Help customers find items and provide fast, friendly service at the tills, packing and leaving a positive final impression.
- Handle stock with care, manage deliveries, and place products into freezers and shelves for customers.
- Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines to keep shops clean and tidy.
- Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and support the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and deliver great service.
- Ensure all apprenticeship provider work is completed on time and to the best of your ability.
Apprenticeship Details
- Retail Team Leader level 3 apprenticeship standard qualification.
- Paid time to complete apprenticeship coursework.
- Regular assessor visits (every 10–12 weeks) with webinars, telephone and video reviews between visits.
- Completion of apprenticeship coursework and, if required, functional skills in English and Maths.
- Assessment at the end of 12 months of training.
Pay, Hours and Benefits
- £13.11 per hour from day one, guaranteed 35 hours per week (weekly pay at least £458).

- A friendly, positive, hardworking approach to work.
- Enjoy being busy with a willingness to perform a range of tasks, from deliveries to tills, shop-floor assistance, and team coordination.
- Reliability and ability to be a trusted member of a small team.
- Flexibility with shifts; rosters are planned three weeks in advance and personal commitments are considered.
- Ensure completion of all work set by the apprenticeship provider.
