Job summary

Superdrug is seeking an Apprentice Sales Assistant in Bristol. You will serve customers with a smile, share Star Buys and help the store hit targets. The training lasts 12 months in-store, leading to Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship, with no college days during training.

Hours are 39 per week with flexible shifts. You will be supported by a team and tutor to grow, with extensive in-store training and a clear path to leadership roles.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths (minimum grade 4/C) or equivalent.
• Available for full-time shifts; not currently in formal education.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Brand new to retail preferred to apply.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers with a smile and promote Star Buys to drive sales.
• Keep the store looking its best and fully stocked, helping to smash store targets.

As an Apprentice Sales Assistant at Superdrug, you’ll be right at the heart of the action-serving customers with a smile, sharing our amazing Star Buys, and making sure everyone leaves feeling great!

You’ll help keep the store looking its best and fully stocked, while playing a key role in smashing store targets.

It’s a hands-on, fast-paced role that’s never boring and packed with chances to learn. We see our Apprentice Sales Assistants as future Team Leaders, and we’ll give you everything you need to grow-with brilliant training, and real opportunities to progress.

Your training will take place in-store over the first 12 months, so no college days and no homework! At the end of your training period, you will complete a discussion around your experiences and an observation of you performing your role. You will be supported throughout by your team and your tutor to achieve your Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship

What you’ll bring to the role:

You qualify if...

• You have a grade 4 / C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths (national 4's for Scotland)
• You are not currently in any form of education, and you are available for full time shifts
• You HAVEN'T completed a Retail Apprenticeship before
• You are eligible to work in the UK
• You are brand new to retail
