Job summary

Superdrug in Godalming is seeking an Apprentice Sales Assistant to be at the heart of in-store service, helping customers, sharing our Star Buys and ensuring everyone leaves feeling great.

You'll keep the store looking its best and fully stocked while contributing to store targets. Training runs in-store for 12 months toward Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship, with tutor support and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C) or equivalent.
• Not currently in any form of education.
• Available for full-time shifts and UK work eligibility.
• No Retail Apprenticeship completed yet.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers with a smile and share Star Buys.
• Keep the store looking its best and fully stocked.
• Help achieve and smash store targets.
• Training in-store for 12 months toward Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship.

As an Apprentice Sales Assistant at Superdrug, you'll be right at the heart of the action – serving customers with a smile, sharing our amazing Star Buys, and making sure everyone leaves feeling great!

You'll help keep the store looking its best and fully stocked, while playing a key role in smashing store targets.

It's a hands-on, fast-paced role that is never boring and packed with chances to learn. We see our Apprentice Sales Assistants as future Team Leaders, and we'll give you everything you need to grow – with brilliant training, and real opportunities to progress.

Your training will take place in-store over the first 12 months, so no college days and no homework! At the end of your training period, you will complete a discussion around your experiences and an observation of you performing your role. You will be supported throughout by your team and your tutor to achieve your Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship.

What you'll bring to the role:

A positive mindset & clear communication skills

Passionate about health & beauty and customer service

Desire to learn and improve your knowledge/skills

Flexible in working hours and adaptable to change

You qualify if…

• You have a grade 4 / C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths (national 4's for Scotland)
• You are not currently in any form of education, and you are available for full time shifts
• You HAVEN'T completed a Retail Apprenticeship before
• You are eligible to work in the UK
• You are brand new to retail
