Outline of the role

The Retail Apprenticeship involves working full-time in our store, assisting with customer experience and learning retail operations. It offers a fast-paced, engaging environment with opportunities for career growth. Savers Sales Assistants are valued, with development and training supported to progress into supervisory roles.

Duties include:

• Delivering exceptional customer service
• Understanding and maintaining the brand reputation
• Promoting products and offers to customers
• Supporting promotional activities and stock management

Training is conducted in-store over 12 months, with no college or homework required. At the end, you will discuss your experiences, undertake a multiple-choice test, and complete an observation to achieve a Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship, supported by your team and assessor.

What you’ll need to succeed

• A passion for learning
• Hardworking with a desire for variety in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in retail and ambition to progress
• Strong work ethic, teamwork, and flexibility
• GCSE grade 4 / C in English and Maths (or equivalent)
• Availability for full-time shifts and no current education commitments
• No prior retail apprenticeship or degree exceeding 1 year at university
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Interest in starting a retail career as a newcomer
