Job summary

Everyone Active – Shipston Leisure Centre is seeking an Apprentice Recreation Assistant for a 12-month work-based programme. You will gain a National Pool Lifeguard qualification and a Level 2 Leisure Team Member credential.

You’ll learn to communicate effectively with teammates, deliver high customer service, and maintain cleanliness and safety in centre operations. The role includes day, evening, and weekend work, with DBS check prior to start.

Everyone Active is currently seeking an ambitious and self-motivated Individual to take on this role and who is ready to embrace our brand mission of 30 minutes of activity 5 times a week

We need an Apprentice Recreation Assistant who will…

• Want to learn to be an effective communicator with other team members

• Want to ensure high levels of cleanliness and housekeeping are maintained within the centre
• Ensure equipment setups are completed safely and on time

National Pool Lifeguard qualification will be gained during the course so you’ll need to be able to swim to a competent level. You’ll also achieve a swimming teacher and fitness qualification. This position will involve day, evening and weekend work, including public holidays and requires an enhanced DBS check which we will complete before you start.
