Location: Ashford, Kent, TN23 1JJ

Salary: Starting at GBP 11.50 (as an apprentice)

Vacancy Type: Full Time, Permanent

The Role

Our client is seeking an Apprentice Receptionist for their busy orthodontic practice.

They need an individual who is able to juggle multiple tasks, is friendly and compassionate, and enjoys interacting with patients.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter and a team player. A passion for dentistry is a must.

Once fully trained on the reception desk, there is an opportunity to train as a Dental Nurse.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome all patients arriving at the practice
• Ensure that the appointment system is efficient and accurate
• Liaise and support all Clinicians, Admin, and clinical team
• Collect and record patient payments
• Act in accordance with the practice rules and code of conduct
• Work full-time Tuesday to Friday with 2 Saturdays a month

Skills And Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work well alone, on own initiative, and as part of a team
• Excellent organisational skills, accountability, flexibility, and a willingness to learn
• Strong IT skills
• Enthusiasm for providing a high standard of care to patients
• Previous dental reception/dental nurse experience is an advantage
