What can I expect?

Working in our Supplier Quality Management Team, your role will include:

  • Ensuring the quality of delivered parts meets requirements and working with suppliers to resolve complaints.
  • Investigating and resolving issues quickly, using 4D/8D methodologies, working cross-functionally for short and long-term solutions.
  • Building relationships with internal customers and external suppliers for effective communication.
  • Collaborating with warehouse teams to deliver quality products to production.
  • Using IT platforms to monitor stock, identify suspect stock, and manage rejection processes.
  • Supporting Factory Quality Engineers with supplier-related escalation topics.
  • Managing suspect/reject parts with Material Control and Commercial teams to ensure stock clarity.
  • Understanding factors influencing product and service performance, including legislation, customer requirements, and sustainability considerations.
  • Recognizing how contractual and commercial quality requirements impact performance objectives.

Please note: Shift work will be required during the program.

Minimum educational requirements:

Level 3: Achieved or on track for at least 5 GCSEs grade 4 or above, including Maths and English.

Level 4: Achieved or on track for three A-levels (grade C or higher), a BTEC, or equivalent, with at least one in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
