Job summary

Sanctuary Property Services in Ipswich is offering an Apprentice – Property Maintenance Operative Level 2. This fixed term apprenticeship for 24 months combines remote learning with on-site practical training, including working in a mobile van, with a starting salary of £19,968 per year.

You will learn toward the Level 2 standard, supported by the team. Requirements include 2 GCSEs including Maths and English, a willingness to learn, and holding or on track to achieve a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at grade 4 or above including Maths and English.
• Willingness to learn and dedication to apprenticeships.
• Ability to work physically and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Work within the team in the Ipswich area to gain practical property maintenance experience.
• Learn on-site repair, servicing and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Develop customer service skills and professional conduct in a facilities environment.

Apprentice – Property Maintenance Operative Level 2

Our Apprenticeship Programme offers hands-on experience while you work towards a recognised qualification in partnership with our trusted training provider, Grey Seal.

This role combines remote learning with on-site practical training, including working in a mobile van, giving you a great balance of theory and real-world experience.

You’ll work towards an Apprenticeship in Property Maintenance. This will lead to an Apprenticeship Standard Property Maintenance Operative – Level 2 nationally recognised qualification at the end. All of this will be supported by the team around you, ensuring you are getting the best out of your apprenticeship!

What will you do?

You will work within the team in the Ely region.This opportunity will give you a chance to earn valuable practical experience in Property Maintenance and enable you to learn the customer service skills needed to build a career in the industry.

What skills and abilities do I need to have?

On top of this, practical skills we are looking for are;

• A minimum of 2 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent to), including Maths and English

• Hold or on track to hold a full valid UK driving licence, in order to drive a company van on completion
