Vacancy Description

As part of our CMP team, you will be supporting and assisting the project engineers in the delivery of a portfolio of small/medium sized capital projects which includes the following activities:

  • Managing and delivering a portfolio of mechanical, electrical, civil, control and instrumentation projects with a value of up to £5 million per annum.
  • Working closely with Thames Water operations and our contractor supply chain to scope, specify and cost quality solutions that are both fit for purpose and value for money.
  • Actively promote our zero-compromise attitudes to health and safety, always striving for continuous improvement.
  • Comply with health and safety requirements, ensuring that all projects built and designed comply with the Construction Design and Management Regulations (CDM).
  • Work collaboratively with delivery partners/contractors to ensure that schemes deliver on time, minimising the risk to the business.
  • Drafting, vetting and approving RAMS, pre-construction information, project plans, construction phase H&S plans (CPP) and commissioning plans.
  • Overseeing the commissioning and handover of the project to the operational client.
  • Ensuring appropriate training has been completed and that completion documents are available and handed over, including test certificates and constructed drawings.
