Job summary

Russell Heating Ltd in Shefford is seeking an motivated apprentice to learn the plumbing trade from the ground up. You will join a small, supportive team and gain hands-on experience on real jobs from day one.

Day-to-day you will install, maintain and repair domestic and commercial plumbing and heating systems, while working toward NVQ/City & Guilds qualifications and building your career in gas, oil and renewables.

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm and genuine interest in plumbing and heating trade.
• Reliability and willingness to learn on the job.
• Good attitude and strong work ethic expected.
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) required.
• Clean DBS check.
• Full UK driving licence or working towards one.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing and heating systems for domestic and commercial clients.
• Diagnose faults, perform safety checks, and carry out routine servicing.
• Prepare quotes and maintain accurate records of jobs completed.
• Collaborate with the wider team to deliver high-quality service while upholding health and safety.
