About our programme:
We’ve been voted second in TheJobCrowd’s list of Top Construction and Civil Engineering Companies for Apprentices across the UK, and our award-winning Trainee Programme is designed to give you valuable, hands-on experience where you will develop your technical skills, meet new people, and gain an academic qualification. We are also proud to be a platinum member of the % club – an association that recognises employers with at least % of their workforce in ‘earn and learn’ positions.
Work with some of the best people in the industry in a full-time role, as you start an exciting and rewarding career where you will be enabled to add value to society.
Our development programme consists of five modules and runs in parallel to your permanent job. The modules are designed to enhance your interpersonal and leadership skills, complementing the hands-on technical experience gained in your role.
We will fully fund your academic qualification, tailored to your role, academic level, and personal ambitions. (We offer apprenticeships at various levels, including degree level).
If you’re eager to gain practical work experience and a recognised qualification, our Trainee Programmes could be the foundation for your career with Galliford Try.
What you will be doing:
You will be enrolled onto an apprenticeship course suited to your current educational level. We offer apprenticeships from a level to a degree level, fully funded by Galliford Try. The specific level will be discussed at the interview and confirmed upon offer. At the end of the programme, you will earn a qualification in this field and acquire practical skills.
Alongside this, you will participate in our Trainee Development Programme, receiving training and tools to develop your skills through various modules over a year, culminating in a graduation event.
As an Apprentice Planner, you will assist with construction planning support on live/onsite projects, with increasing responsibilities including planning support during pre-construction and tender stages.
This is a full-time, permanent role across the East Midlands and East of England, primarily around Cambridgeshire, for a period of – years.
Why work with us:
