Job summary

TE Connectivity Corporation is offering an Apprentice Planner within our Hastings, United Kingdom manufacturing site. You will support the planning function, translating demand into production plans and ensuring materials, resources and capacity align to deliver products on time.

Qualifications

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
• Familiarity with SAP and planning systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support the Planning team with day-to-day planning activities.
• Use SAP to monitor customer orders, inventory levels, and production requirements.
• Assist in creating and updating production schedules.
• Monitor component availability and identify potential shortages.
• Work with Procurement, Manufacturing, and Customer Service to meet business needs.
• Ensure customer orders are delivered on time and in full; maintain planning data and reports.
• Support investigation and resolution of supply chain or production issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects across Supply Chain.

As an Apprentice Planner, you will gain hands‑on experience supporting the planning function within a busy manufacturing environment. You will learn how customer demand is translated into production plans, ensuring that materials, resources, and manufacturing capacity are aligned to deliver products on time and in full.

Alongside practical workplace experience, you will complete the Level 3 Supply Chain Practitioner (FMCG) Apprenticeship through Oxford Professional Education Group, developing the knowledge and skills required for a successful career in Supply Chain Planning.
