About the Role

Deysbrook Pharmacy seeks a dedicated Apprentice Pharmacy Dispenser & Counter Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a busy community pharmacy while working towards your NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services.

As an apprentice, you'll receive full training to develop the skills to dispense medications, assist customers, and support the pharmacy team. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in pharmacy, with opportunities for growth and progression.

Key Responsibilities:

*Assist in dispensing medications under supervision.
*Accurately label and prepare prescriptions following standard operating procedures.
*Support stock management, including checking inventory and placing orders
*Help with the preparation of monitored dosage systems for patients
*Serve customers at the pharmacy counter, providing advice on over-the-counter medicines
*Process prescriptions and maintain accurate patient records
*Learn NHS procedures, including endorsements and prescription reimbursements
*Maintain a clean and organised dispensary and retail area
*Work as part of a team to support the smooth running of the pharmacy
