We’re looking for an Apprentice Parts Advisor

Our BMW division is a brand fueled by the passion to create the ultimate customer experience. As our Apprentice Parts Advisor, you can help us do just that. We’re seeking the next generation of exceptional people to join a growing team that delights our customers.

About the Role

The Parts Department is at the heart of our operation, and our Parts Advisors are responsible for controlling the stock of vehicle parts and accessories. You’ll be ordering, selling, and managing stock to meet the needs of our trade counter customers and ensure our workshop team has all the parts they need to complete their tasks.

Typical Responsibilities
  1. Providing advice to customers experiencing vehicle issues
  2. Taking sales orders from customers face-to-face and over the phone
  3. Controlling stock for vehicle parts and accessories
  4. Maintaining an organized stockroom
  5. Raising invoices for sold parts
  6. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure the right stock is available at the right time

We will teach you all of the above, but we are ultimately looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual eager to start an exciting career. Upon completing your apprenticeship, you will have excellent earning and progression opportunities as a fully qualified Parts Advisor.

Training Provided

Training combines virtual classroom remote learning and face-to-face block release weeks at our state-of-the-art training centers. Expert trainers will guide you through e-learning, classroom sessions, and practical applications. Your personal mentor will support your ongoing learning as you apply new skills and knowledge gained through remote sessions and at the National Learning Centre.

This comprehensive training experience will help you build valuable life skills and earn both Apprenticeship qualifications and brand certifications.

Qualifications

Upon successful completion of the 16-month program, you will receive:

  • Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Standard
  • Brand-specific certifications
Minimum Entry Requirements

GCSE grades 9-4 (A-C) or equivalent in English, Maths, and Science. In Scotland, applicants must have or be predicted to achieve Scottish National 5 Grades A-C in English, Maths, and a Science or Technical subject.

Equivalent grades include: BTEC first diplomas and certificates, OCR Nationals, Key Skills Level 2, NVQs, Essential Skills (Wales), Functional Skills Level 2, Core Skills (Scotland).
