A leading healthcare provider in Wirral is offering an apprenticeship for individuals to become qualified Occupational Therapists. Applicants must enroll in the Occupational Therapy Degree Apprenticeship and manage a workload in a clinical setting. Responsibilities include patient assessment, documentation, and communication with healthcare teams. The role requires commitment to complete necessary academic qualifications and offers a supportive learning environment.
Successful applicants will undertake a programme of learning through work experience, academic study, and practice placements to become qualified and registered Occupational Therapists.
This position requires the post holder to be enrolled on the Occupational Therapy Degree Apprenticeship and working a minimum of 30 hours a week for the duration of the 30-month training programme. This vacancy is being advertised as an apprenticeship, and as such, the salary for the role is reflective of this. Those who currently hold and can evidence the essential qualifications need not apply. Your application will not be shortlisted if you hold the essential qualification(s).
Although English and Maths at level 2 is not required for the role, it is a requirement to complete the apprenticeship and need to be in place by the end of the apprenticeship. If you do not hold or cannot evidence English and Maths at level 2, support will be provided for the successful applicant(s) as part of the Trust’s apprenticeship offer.
