Job summary

Realise is seeking a motivated Apprentice Nursery Educator for Little Rascals Nursery in Tunbridge Wells. You will work with a group of key children, plan activities, complete observations, and help keep them safe and happy throughout the day.

You will work toward the Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, with full training provided by Realise. The role offers a friendly, supportive team, 28 days leave, and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must love children and have a warm, caring nature.
• Some experience with babies or under-5s is preferred.
• Willing to work towards Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• GCSE Maths/English or equivalent, or willing to work toward functional skills.

Job description

As an Apprentice Nursery Educator, you will be part of a friendly and supportive team, responsible for a group of key children, planning activities, completing observations, and ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Little Rascals Nursery (part of Bright Stars UK) is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Nursery Apprentice who is eager to work with children and pursue a Level 3 Early Years qualification. To be considered for this role, you must have a genuine love for children and a warm, caring nature., GCSE Maths/English or equivalent, or willingness to work towards the required level of functional skills alongside the apprenticeship. Some experience working with babies or children under the age of five.

You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:

• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
• Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator
• Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
• Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required) You'll be expected to comply with the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework and help create a safe, fun, and stimulating learning environment.
