Join to apply for the Apprentice Nursery Assistant role at Tiny Robins Day Nursery.

Tiny Robins Day Nursery is an Ofsted-rated good provider of childcare for children from six weeks to five years old. The nursery believes each child is a unique individual with special talents that we will harness and develop in a safe, secure, caring, and compassionate environment.

Upon completion of the apprenticeship, there is potential to progress to Level 3 Early Years Educator (if the candidate completes EYP L2) and to continue your career at Tiny Robins.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Ensuring children are in a safe and caring environment, under close staff supervision.
  2. Assisting staff to meet children’s individual care plans and routines.
  3. Providing and supporting stimulating activities to enhance children's development.
  4. Interacting positively with children, parents, visitors, and staff members.
  5. Being allocated a Trainer Assessor, with training planned and delivered in conjunction with the employer to meet individual needs.
  6. Spending 20% of working hours on off-the-job activities and training.
  7. Receiving both on-the-job and off-the-job training within the workplace.
