Job Description
  • Inputting and extracting information from the Practice computer system
  • Observing health and safety guidelines at all times
  • General housekeeping (keeping reception and waiting areas tidy)
  • Making refreshments for staff and participating in washing up
  • Performing any other reasonable duties as necessary
  • Completing all mandatory training modules
  • Making appointments and taking requests for prescriptions
  • Giving out results and handling ambulance transport bookings
  • Managing home visit requests and dealing with general enquiries and complaints
  • Contacting other providers, registering new patients and temporary residents
  • Greeting and directing patients and visitors, handing out prescriptions

  • Working hours vary; earliest at 8:00am, latest at 6:30pm
