Placements24 is recruiting an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter in Randburg for a structured training program to develop skills in mechanical maintenance and assembly. You will work with experienced fitters to install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot mechanical systems, building a long‑term career in engineering and industrial maintenance.

The role combines practical workshops with classroom learning, mentorship from qualified fitters, and clear progression toward a recognized trade qualification.

Qualifications

• Completed Grade 12 or equivalent qualification with a focus on technical subjects.
• Strong interest in mechanical engineering and a hands-on approach to work.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, following instructions carefully.
• Physical fitness suitable for tasks involving manual labor and working in industrial environments.
