Location: Kittybrewster Complex, Aberdeen
Duration: Apprenticeship up to 4 years, Full Time
Please note that from 1 April 2023, roles requiring PVG membership will require candidates to cover the cost, applicable only to roles with a full-time equivalent salary of £30,000 and above (e.g., teaching roles, jobs at Grade 11 and above, currently £30,285 per annum / £16.64 per hour).
The Council will initially pay for the PVG membership (£18 for existing members, £59 for non-members), and this cost will be deducted from the employee's first full salary payment.
Assist with the service, repair, and maintenance of Aberdeen City Council vehicles, plant, and equipment. Attend college and attain Mechanical qualifications over a 4-year apprenticeship.
National 4 in English and Maths or equivalent (or working towards)
