We have 4 exciting new opportunities for Trainee Mechanical Technician (Apprenticeship Programme) within our Facilities Maintenance and Compliance Team.
The role will assist the Maintenance team to carry out maintenance to all mechanical (HVAC) infrastructure, plant, and equipment associated with a major University and to complete installation work in a technically flexible manner. The position will also include some elements of electrical engineering discipline, while working within the levels of a known competency.
The scope of work includes repair, maintenance, and improvements engineering services. This would include PPM (planned preventative maintenance) works, reactive maintenance works (via UoM helpdesk), and small project works.
