Medirest Signature is offering an exciting opportunity as an engineering apprentice in Sittingbourne. This role involves hands-on experience in the maintenance department, performing routine and reactive maintenance on machinery, alongside formal training to achieve a Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Level 3 qualification over four years. Candidates are required to have GCSE passes in Maths and English and should demonstrate a proactive and positive attitude towards learning.

You will work within the Maintenance department to carry out the routine, proactive and reactive maintenance of machinery within the Injection Moulding manufacturing areas.
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Level 3.
This is a 4 year apprenticeship.
Year 1 will be spent at IPS International, Medway City Estate, Rochester, Kent ME2 4DU. Year 2 will be in the workplace with day release at IPS and Years 3 & 4 will be full-time in the workplace.
