So, what’s the role about?
We're seeking ambitious individuals for our 2025 intake of Engineering Apprentices. This exciting 4-year programme, delivered in partnership with HETA in Scunthorpe (DN15 8QW), offers a structured and comprehensive learning experience.

Year 1 at HETA (DE15 5QW)
Your journey begins with a dedicated year of training at HETA's state-of-the-art facility in Scunthorpe. We'll fully support your transition, covering your accommodation and travel costs between your home and the training centre. You'll attend college five days a week, with all travel to and from college provided. This immersive experience will lay the essential groundwork for your engineering career. We’re looking for candidates who can commit to relocating to Scunthorpe for this crucial first academic year.

Years 2-4 at Marley, Beenham (RG7 5PU)
From your second year, you'll transition to our site in Beenham, where you'll apply your newly acquired skills in a real-world environment. You'll follow a personalised training plan, guided by a dedicated mentor and your manager. You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience, working alongside our experienced engineering team and gaining exposure to various roles within the division. Your day-to-day work will contribute to our busy engineering department, with the ultimate goal of developing you into a skilled Maintenance Engineer.

Due to the site's location and the requirement to travel to Scunthorpe for the first year of training, candidates must have their own transport.

Ready to apply? Here's what you'll need:

  • Minimum of 16 years of age
  • Be able to relocate to Scunthorpe for the first academic year
  • Minimum education of 4 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or equivalent, including Mathematics, English and Science
  • You’ll need a strong work ethic and a keen interest in the world of engineering and manufacturing
  • The ability to work in a team as well as on your own
  • A full UK driving licence with own transport

In return, we will provide you with full support along your 4-year Apprentice journey, progressing you towards becoming a fully qualified Maintenance Engineer with a permanent job following a successful apprenticeship.
