Job summary

Royal Logistic Corps offers a pathway for recruits to become a Supply Chain Operator, with on-the-job training and progression through the Defence School of Logistics. You will learn to manage stores, handle logistics information systems and progress toward professional driving qualifications.

Starting salary begins as you start training, with opportunities to deploy globally and undertake a Level 2 Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship, building a long-term logistics career within the Army.

Qualifications

• GCSE grade E/2, or Scottish National 4, or above in Maths and English.

Responsibilities

• Use LIS to control storage and distribution of kit and equipment, ensuring supplies are available.
• Work in barracks, combat units and warehouses as part of an Army Unit or attached to another organisation.
• Deploy all over the world on exercise and operations – wherever your expertise is needed.
• Train as a Materiel Accountant and gain your C+E Driving Licence.
• Gain an Adult Apprenticeship in Warehousing and Storage.
