Job Description:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with our Client based in Coventry. They are in a very unique position where they can hire anyone ranging from an Apprentice to a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner. They are looking for a team player who can take initiative and support the development of each and every child in the setting!

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Have an excellent understanding of the EYFS
  2. Understand the importance of assessment, and ensure all children receive the statutory progress checks required.
  3. Maintain records of your key children’s development and learning journeys and share with parents, carers and other professionals.
  4. Actively support the nursery manager in day-to-day safeguarding and child protection.
  5. Act as a mentor for apprentices and junior staff by example, as well as providing supervision and training.
  6. Assist in implementing creative and engaging activities for children that promote learning and enjoyment within the EYFS framework.
  7. Build strong relationships with the team, the children and parents/carers.
