Job summary

Newcastle Academy in the North Staffs & Stoke Learning Community is seeking an Apprentice Learning Support Practitioner to join the SEND team and support pupils in literacy, numeracy and science under guidance of the class teacher.

The role is 37 hours per week, term-time, fixed-term for 18 months, with starting salary of £13,263 (NMW Apprentice). Closing date: 9am Monday 28th September; interviews after shortlisting. Windsor Academy Trust supports safeguarding and professional development.

We are seeking an Apprentice Learning Support Practitioner to join our SEND team at Newcastle Academy in the North Staffs & Stoke Learning Community.

We are looking for someone to support our students in the classroom under the guidance of the SEND team and class teacher, addressing the needs of pupils who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning. You will provide support in literacy/numeracy/science and SEN strategies and may provide support in an extracurricular club or activity.
