Are you passionate about helping others succeed and grow? Do you dream of designing and delivering engaging learning experiences that shape the future? If you're looking to launch your career in Learning and Development, this is your opportunity to join us as a Learning Apprentice. Your initial focus will be Early Careers and STEM outreach but you will also have the chance to explore more areas of learning.

What You’ll Be Doing: (We know you might not have a background in learning yet, but we’d love to hear your passion for learning and for helping others to develop!)

Supporting Early Career Development: Play a key role in facilitating the delivery of learning programs that help new starters and early-career employees develop the skills they need to succeed.

Creating Impactful Resources: Help design engaging, interactive materials and resources tailored to our early career’s population and STEM events.

Facilitating setup of STEM events: We want to get the message of Rolls-Royce SMR and nuclear out there and educate young people. You will help us do this by facilitating our attendance at STEM and career events.

Tracking Progress & Feedback: Particularly of our STEM events so we can measure our impact.

Collaborating: We are a highly collaborative team, and we’ll want you to share. We want to hear your fresh ideas in meetings!

What We’re Looking For:

Passion for Supporting Others: You believe that learning is the key to unlocking potential, and you’re excited to help early-career professionals develop their skills and grow in their roles.

Creative & Engaging: You’ll bring some fresh perspectives on how we can engage with a young audience.

Strong Communicator: You will be able to get out an about at events, we’d love you to advocate for Rolls-Royce SMR and for apprenticeships.

Eager to Learn & Grow: This apprenticeship is designed to help you launch your career in learning, so we’re looking for someone who is motivated to learn, take on new challenges, and develop their skills.

Why You’ll Love It Here:

Mentorship & Growth: You’ll be mentored by experienced learning professionals who will guide you as you develop your career.

Career Pathways: Learning is a growing field with lots of opportunity. This apprenticeship sets you up for a fulfilling career, with the potential for growth and leadership roles down the line.

Supportive Team Environment: Join a team that’s passionate about developing talent and supporting career journeys. You’ll be part of a collaborative, dynamic environment where everyone is committed to helping each other succeed. We’ll invest in you and encourage you to participate and get involved at every step.

Confidence can sometimes hold us back from applying for a job. But we'll let you in on a secret: there's no such thing as a 'perfect' candidate. If you feel you meet 75% of the requirements for this role, we would love to hear from you.

Also, if you are considering a career move or a sector-jump, please get in touch, we welcome applications from people with transferable skills.

Requirements for the role:

  • GCSE grade 4/C in Maths and English Language (or equivalent).
