Job description

Job Overview

We are looking to recruit a full-time Apprentice to support our office with administrative duties at our Lincoln office. The position is full-time, working Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with a 1-hour unpaid break. You will be studying for an NVQ Level 3 in Business/Office Services.

Activities

Activities will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Receiving incoming post, scanning, and allocating it to legal advisors.
  2. Preparing outgoing post for dispatch by franking and taking it to the post office.
  3. Preparing paper or electronic bundles of documents for files or court hearings.
  4. Assisting with the daily running of the office, including kitchen stockkeeping, stationery stockkeeping, general tidying, and maintenance.
  5. Providing administrative and typing support to all departments as required.
  6. Acting as relief telephonist/receptionist to cover lunch times, holidays, and sickness.
  7. Undertaking regular training as identified through the appraisal process.
  8. Assisting with any other duties as required by the business.
