Summary

Our client, a large Lloyds Insurance Broker, has an excellent opportunity for an Apprentice Broker to join their growing Corporate Retail team in London. The role involves servicing the insurance needs of customers, ensuring prompt documentation and efficient issue resolution.

Main Duties:

  • Support management and colleagues throughout the company
  • Achieve a thorough understanding of insurance basics, principles, and the broking market
  • Answer calls promptly and handle enquiries professionally
  • Deal with client enquiries via phone and email
  • Generate correspondence to clients, insurers, and third parties
  • Notify insurers of changes and new cover
  • Obtain and submit client documentation promptly
  • Process, check, and dispatch policy documents
  • Handle mid-term adjustments
  • Issue renewal notices and documentation
  • Update records for risk changes
  • Secure outstanding renewal premiums
  • Create new policy records for new risks

Key Skills Required:

  • On target or completed 3 A-Levels or equivalent (Grade C or above)
  • At least 5 GCSEs (grade C or above)
  • Strong IT skills
