Summary

Our client, a large Lloyds Insurance Broker, has an excellent opportunity for an Apprentice Broker to join their growing Corporate Retail team in London. The role involves servicing the insurance needs of customers, ensuring prompt handling of documents and issues.

Main Duties:

  • Support management and colleagues throughout the company
  • Gain understanding of insurance basics, principles, and broking market
  • Answer calls promptly and professionally
  • Handle client enquiries
  • Communicate with clients, insurers, and third parties via phone and email
  • Generate correspondence to clients, insurers, and third parties
  • Notify insurers of changes and new cover
  • Obtain and submit client documentation
  • Process, check, and dispatch policy documents
  • Manage mid-term adjustments
  • Issue renewal notices and documentation
  • Update records with changes
  • Secure outstanding renewal premiums
  • Create new policy records

Key Skills Required:

  • On target or completed 3 A-Levels or equivalent (Grade C or above)
  • At least 5 GCSEs (grade C or above)
  • Strong IT skills
  • Effective time management
  • Ability to work in a team or individually
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
