About The Role

The Role

GAP Group Apprentices are essential in ensuring our Depots have the right level of expertise, now and in the future.

As an Apprentice Hire & Sales Co-ordinator (HSC), you will be enrolled in a blended learning programme where you will gain NVQ Level 2 in Hire Desk Operations through a combination of on-the-job experience and online training with a leading training provider.

Our 2-year Apprenticeship Programme covers all the essential skills needed to become an HSC, including running an effective hire desk, stock control, purchasing, driving sales, and managing customer queries while coordinating drivers to meet customer needs. You will also learn customer service, sales skills, back-office administration, and credit control.

Our Apprenticeship Programme allows you to earn as you learn:

  • Apprentices under 18 will work a maximum of 39 hours per week with a starting salary of £13,000 per annum.
  • Apprentices over 18 will work a maximum of 42.5 hours per week with a starting salary of £14,200 per annum.

After Year 1, you will be placed on the National Minimum Wage rate for your age group.

About You
