About the role

GAP Group Apprentices are essential in ensuring our Depots have the right level of expertise, now and in the future. As an Apprentice Hire & Sales Coordinator (HSC), you will participate in a blended learning program to gain NVQ Level 2 in Hire Desk Operations through on-the-job experience and online training.

The 2-year Apprenticeship covers skills like running an effective hire desk, stock control, purchasing, driving sales, managing customer queries, and coordinating drivers to meet customer needs. You will also learn customer service, sales, back-office administration, and credit control.

Earn while you learn: Apprentices under 18 will work up to 39 hours/week with a starting salary of £15,500/year. Apprentices over 18 will work a maximum of hours/week with a starting salary of £16,700/year. Upon completing Year 1, you will be placed on the National Minimum Wage for your age group.

About You

Applicants should demonstrate:

  • 4 GCSEs at grades C/D
  • Interest in customer service and sales
